Hi, I’m Laura Lopez Nickerson. I’m glad you’re here. I’m a business attorney and I care deeply about people and business. I’ve worked at one of the top thirty law firms in the world and one of the largest mining companies in the world. I’ve worked alongside some of the most well-respected securities and transactional attorneys in the country. I’ve sat in government offices, across from billion-dollar service providers, and along with folks just starting out. My emphasis in the business world has always been the same: (1) to serve businesses as they grow, establish, and exit and (2) to simply provide steady legal management.

I believe that my purpose as a lawyer is to help you achieve your goals so that you can create the life you want and were intended to live. I’m invested in you and your goals for the long-haul whether that’s to create a new company, sell an old company, raise money, manage routine corporate issues, or serve as a sounding board for your strategic decisions.

I had my first job when I was 12 years old and I started working on a consistent basis when I was 14 years old. I know the value of a dollar as a byproduct of my work experience, and I believe in being a good steward of everything that is entrusted to me. My greatest desire is to love the Lord Jesus Christ well and secondarily, to love people well also.

I have an incredible husband, one daughter, and two dogs. I enjoy living life with them. Our lives are intentional places of joy. I also have incredible parents, amazing siblings, and a community of friends unlike anything I could have dreamt up. My life is good and I’m grateful. I believe these strong foundations support all the work I do for my clients.
